Commuters driving through Jersey on their way to Social Circle and Covington will have a reason to stop for a bit once The Biscuit Factory begins serving breakfast sandwiches.

Located on Jersey's Main Street, The Biscuit Factory currently prepares breakfast sandwiches which are then sold to local convenience stores, but owner Stephanie Fuller says she plans to open up a drive-thru window in a month's time.

Promising the "best home cooking around" Fuller and her mother make all of their biscuits from scratch with an old family recipe every morning. Customers can choose from chicken biscuits, ham biscuits, red link biscuits, smoked sausage biscuits, steak biscuits, sausage biscuits, country ham biscuits and tenderloin biscuits. Biscuits come with egg and cheese and range in price from $1 to $2.50.

Breakfast burritos with bacon, egg and cheese and sausage, egg and cheese are also available.

The Biscuit Factory's biscuits are currently carried at The Big Easy in Covington on Washington Street, at the Shell gas station next to Happy J's also on Washington Street and at the Chevron Gas Station on Emory Street. Fuller said she envisions distributing her breakfast sandwiches to even more convenience stores in the future.

Fuller said her biscuits are distributed to convenience stores between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Free delivery is offered on orders of 10 or more biscuits.
