Adam Scarborough, 20, of Covington, a 2006 graduate of Eastside High School, died Feb. 7. A member of Central Community Church, he was employed by Advantage Sprinkler Company in Duluth and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Lora and Alan Maxwell of Covington; father and step-mother, Chris and Mary Scarborough of Newborn; fiancée, Katie Darby of Covington; sisters, Erica Scarborough of Conyers, Amanda Brewer and Patricia Maxwell, both of Athens, Elizabeth Becknell of Covington; brothers, Brad Holmes of Atlanta, Tony Maxwell of McDonough, Ronnie Becknell of Newborn; grandparents, Lillian and William Holmes of Walnut Grove, Pat and Melvin Scarborough of Covington; nieces, Lily Scarborough and Thilia Becknell.

Funeral services for Mr. Scarborough will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan with the Rev. Darrell Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
