Aaron Hunt died Nov. 15. The son of Mr. John Weidman and Ms. Debra Hunt Watts, he was born in 1978 in Lauderdale County, Miss. He joined New Mt. Calvary M.B. Church at an early age and graduated from Lake High School, Lake Miss. He was preceded in death by grandmother Nora Lee Hunt, uncles Roy Weidman and Willie Weidman and Aunt Roselene and Uncle Sonny.

Surviving are father John Weidman; mother Debra Hunt Watts (Willie Watson) stepfather; Tracy Watts (Geneva), daddy in his early life; sisters Deunca Watts, Deria Watts of Conyers, brothers Devanta Watts of Conyers, Tracy (Hopsie) Watts of Lake; maternal grandfather Bobby Hunt (Corine White) of Forest, Miss.; aunts Bobbie Holifield, Shirley Waits (Roy), Carolyn Holifield, Linda Hunt, all of Lake; uncles Howard (Betty) Hunt, Otis Hunt, Willie Hunt of Lake, Wayne Hunt of Union, Miss.; special cousin Sharnell Holifield; paternal grandparents Earnestine Weidman and Gus Weidman; uncles Larry Weidman of Decatur, Miss.; aunts Joyce Weidman, Evelyn Weidman, Veronica Weidman, Irish Weidman of Lake, Eloise Weidman of Philadelphia, Miss.; grandparents William H. Watts and Mattie Helen Watts; uncles Lamar (Delores) Watts of Decatur, Ill., Rex (Glenda) Watts, Chris (Sandra) Watts, Lee (Lillie) Watts, Mickey Watts, Nickelus (Cassandra) Watts, Jason (Bridgett) Watts, Charles Holifield, all of Forest, Miss.; aunts Patricia (Willie) Pace, Kim Watts, Lisa Lewis, Sylvia Holifield Irby, all of Forest; a host of god-children, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 24 at Greater Deliverance Church of God in Christ, Forest Miss., with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lake.
