Dear Editor: Tech-Able was recently permitted to present a program enlightening the Special Education teachers in Newton County (where there are approximately 2,600 special needs students) to the services we can afford to the teachers, parents and students. We are a non-profit assistive technology organization in Conyers serving Rockdale, Newton, Butts, Henry, Walton and DeKalb counties. We also serve statewide in Georgia.

The following companies donated items for the bags that were made up for distribution to the teachers and for several "grand prizes" drawn at the time of the presentation: ASPIRE, F.O.C.U.S., Massey Insurance, Teachers Tool Box, PTO Store, DeKalb Medical Center, Doster's Food Pride, Watties' Beauty Shop, Dr. Carolyn Leonard, Jimbo's Grill At the Mill, Wheeler-Harwell Funeral Home, Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, Central Community Church, BB&T, First Nation Bank, Scott Hubbard Sate Farm Insurance, Dan Babb State Farm Insurance, Wal-Mart, Utopia Salon and Spa, Miracle League and Ply-Mart.

We would also like to thank Sally Jarrett and Anna Reed Curtis, our volunteers who played such an important part in soliciting these items and bagging them for the 275 personnel involved.

Sincerely,

Joe Tedesco, M.ED., A.T.P.
