It was the second year Smith was named an All-PBC honoree, helping the Bobcats finish as a top 25 team two years in a row.

Georgia College finished the 2012-13 season as the nation’s No. 16 team Tuesday, according to the GolfWorld/Nike Golf Division II Coaches Poll.

Smith had two top 10 finishes in his senior and final season, placing seventh in the Aflac/Cougar Invitational Oct. 1-2 and fifth in the 2013 Southeastern Intercollegiate March 11-12.

The former Eastside standout shot 2-over with an average of 73.8 in 29 rounds of play for the 2012-13 Bobcats.

At Eastside, Smith was a four-time team MVP, four-year low medalist and the 2008 region champion.
