Newton County’s first Miracle League complex has experienced a plethora of delays, and the grand opening originally set for the fall of 2014 will be delayed until January 2015. If the Miracle League manages to keep its grand opening of January 2015, registration would begin in the spring. The complex is technically two years ahead of schedule because a loan from Newton Federal came early, ground breaking was moved up from an original planned date of 2016. The Miracle League gives all children the opportunity to play sports regardless of their physical or mental ability.
