According to southernfishing.com, Lake Oconee is full, 85 to 90 degrees. Bass fishing is fair and the lake is full, clear on the main lake stained up the rivers. Fish the lower lake humps with a large crank bait. A Normans DD22 in a shad pattern or black silver, blue silver pattern has been working over the past week.

Use a dark 6-inch worm. You can still find a few fish, under deep water docks, on the main lake. Fish a shaky head with a craw trailer.

Striper and hybrid fishing is slow and some fish are still coming on umbrella rig fished off of the humps in the mid part of the lake. A few fish are hitting top water early and late in the day. A popping cork with a small trailer has been the best producer.

Crappie fishing is good. Use your lowrance to locate the schools of crappie in the timber. You need to stay right on top of the fish they will not leave the tree to feed. Most of the schools are between 10 and 20 feet deep.

According to southernfishing.com, Lake Sinclair is full, 90 degrees, stained up the river, main lake is clear. Bass fishing is very good, and the top water bite showed back up as the bream started spawning again.

The best bite was around deep points and short pockets up the Little River. The top water bite only lasts a couple of hours in the morning, then it is time to search offshore structures and brush piles with your Lowrance electronics.

Look for brush on the main river channel and main lake in 15 feet of water for consistency. Good baits to use on these offshore spots are deep diving shad colored crank baits and Texas rigged Zman Palmetto Bugz in green pumpkin color.

According to southern fishing.com, Jackson Lake is .66 over full, stained and 84 degrees.

Bass fishing is fair and top water will shallow fish in the early morning. Look down lake on main lake riprap and seawalls.

Fish shallow on rocky points very early and late in the day. While the fish can be hit-and miss, quality fish are being caught out 15 feet and deeper. Use shad raps to take fish out to 8 feet of water. Throw a bandit 300 diving bait to search for deeper fish.

If the top water bite isn’t biting early morning, throw jigs, shaky heads, and crank baits.

Cranks will cover water and jigs or worms will take fish from specific shallow structure and sea walls. Try lare worms like Ole Monster in the blow downs and in deep structure.
