Antarius Terrell nets interception

Here's a weekly look at Covington's former prep stars now in college:

Football
Antarius Terrell, Eastside - Terrell had an interception, his fifth of the year and ran back three yards to give Presbyterian the ball at the VMI 47. That led to Presbyterian's only touchdown, trailing 17-7. Terrell also had two tackles for the Blue Devils.

Anderico Bailey, Eastside - Bailey caught five passes for 69 yards in Presbyterian's 17-7 loss to Virginia Military Institute on Saturday.

Akeem Hunt, Newton - Hunt led Purdue with 119 all-purpose yards in the Boilermakers 44-13 loss to Michigan Saturday. Hunt did most of his damage on kickoff returns, going for 116 yards with an average of 32 per return. He had one carry on offense for three yards, and caught a pass.

Devon Mann, Newton - Mann caught three passes for 37 yards, including a 20-yard catch in Morehouse College's 21-14 loss to Tuskegee Saturday.
Mann's 20-yard reception from Donnay Ragland came on third-and-9, allowing Morehouse to extend its drive. He later caught an 18-yard pass, but fumbled it on the Tusculum 49.

Zac Johnston, Eastside - The Charleston Southern linebacker had two tackles in the Buccaneers' 49-7 loss to Stony Brook on Saturday.

James Johnson, Eastside - William and Mary rushed for 4.1 yards per carry in a 34-28 win over Penn on Saturday, behind its offensive line and left guard James Johnson.

Broderick Alexander, Eastside - Alexander had one tackle in Akron's 24-10 loss to Bowling Green Saturday.
