In high school softball when you're dealing with young players who are still learning, there will be some mistakes. Most games come down to the team that makes the fewest mistakes and on Tuesday that was Alcovy, as they eased to a 9-1 win over a young Newton team. Other than mistakes the game cane down to which pitcher would last longer,and the Tigers won that battle, too.
