If music is truly what feelings sound like, then Porterdale will be home to some amazing feelings this weekend when the annual Homegrown Jazz by the River returns. This event is crazy fun every year. You’re encouraged to bring blankets and a picnic and cop a squat near the river to enjoy the music. Hosted by the Washington Street Community Center, the proceeds go to help them out, which is awesome – it’s like an added treat!
