Two Rockdale residents were arrested last week as part of a three-month state-wide child pornography investigation conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Devin Hall, 26, of Conyers, and Travis Eugene Neilson, 21, both of Conyers were arrested on Jan. 12 and charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children for allegedly having child pornography on their computers.

The images were shared as part of a peer-to-peer network, and more than 80 warrants were served throughout the state as part of the investigation, according to GBI spokesperson John Bankhead.

"We're not talking about just pictures of nude children. We're talking about pornography," said Bankhead. The age of the children in the images range from very little up to about 10 years old, he said. "I don't think in these instances these were locally produced. These were just images that have been shared among these people."

Last year, a similar operation was conducted and the GBI served 44 warrants.
