It was a battle between the two top dogs in Region 2-AAAAAA baseball as Tucker traveled to Rockdale to take on the Bulldogs.

Rockdale, going into the game had won its first six region games and were undefeated in region play. Tucker had only lost one region game being second in the region standings, but the Tigers played like they were the best of the region in a controlling win over Rockdale, 7-2.

Tucker took control from the opening inning scoring four runs in the first inning including three RBI-singles and a RBI-double. From that point on, it seemed like Rockdale just couldn't keep up with Tucker though they scored one run in the second inning and one run in the fourth. Tucker sealed the game in the top of the seventh inning by adding two more runs.

Rockdale will have a chance at revenge as the series travels to Tucker on Wednesday and back to Rockdale on Friday.
