Contestants display their costumes to a packed house

Barksdale Elementary School held their first ever "Trashion Show" April 18, at 6 p.m. to raise funds for Relay for Life. Costumes had to be designed using a black garbage bag. Contestants strutted their stuff to music before a packed audience, who hooted and hollered for their favorites. Judges included a retired Army paratrooper, team captain for Replay for Life from Athens and two cancer survivors.
