The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Rockdale County until 7 p.m. Wednesday night.

There is also a severe weather outlook for the area, with some severe thunderstorms. There will be winds around 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
