Log on: Monday morning, Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Lithonia), delivered laptop computers to five Rockdale County Public School students selected by their schools to be the recipient of the laptop due to their academic achievements, strong work ethic, and passion for learning: Guadalupe Batres - 7th grade student at Conyers Middle School, Christina McDermott - 8th grade student at Edwards Middle, Erika Darden - 12th grade student at Heritage, Darian Sinclair - 11th grade student at RCHS and RCA, Chelsea Hooks - 11th grade student at Salem (her sister Lindsey, a 9th grade student at SHS, accepted the laptop on her behalf, since Chelsea was out of town). The laptops were donated from Aaron Rent’s in Atlanta to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
