Toil and Trouble

“Macbeth” has always been one of my favorite Shakespearean plays – mostly because of the three witches and their “something wicked this way comes” monologue. It’s one of his darker plays, and it’s all about temptation and betrayal - like all the best stories are. A new theatre in Little Five Points is putting a new twist on the play, which is pretty cool, and definitely makes it worth seeing. Once upon a time, men played all the characters in The Bard’s plays. Well, in this production, it’s seven women who play all 26 characters. And if their media pictures are any indication, these feisty females will make it well worth your time and money to take a peek at this performance.

Price: $12-$17
