CONYERS - Three people have been arrested by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) for allegedly assisting Timothy Allen Ward, the inmate who escaped from jail while doing work detail a week ago.

Shane Thompson, 38, Christopher Bryant,34, Anna Moore, 24, were arrested Aug. 5, a few hours after Ward's escape, for their involvement in helping 33-year-old Ward, a resident of Buffalo, West Virginia, dodge being arrest.

It's unclear how the three alleged accomplices, who are also residents of West Virginia, assisted Ward, and the RCSO isn't giving any details because the case is still being investigated.
All three suspects are being charged with aiding in Ward's escape. Moore has an additional charge for possessing someone else's identification without that person's consent.

All three suspects are in Rockdale County Jail. Ward is still on the run.

"We are still following up on leads of his whereabouts with assistance from U.S. Marshals," said RCSO spokesperson Sgt. Andy Arnold
