Forget the Emmys! The real awards action this past weekend was happening at the Third Annual Linda Wise Awards. Held at the Hawthorne Suites Saturday evening, the local "Tonys" recognized the year's outstanding performances and achievements of The New Depot Players. Attendees were also regaled with many dynamic live performances from the past season, as well as a preview of things to come in 2010.

The evening's big winner was the production, "Daddy's Dyin'. Who's Got The Will?" taking home a total of 13 awards. "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" was well represented by Best Actress in a Musical and Best Newcomer, Courtney Bozaich, and Best Actor in a Musical, the incomparable Dustin Smith.
