Teddy Riley to keynote GPTC commencement

Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) announced that internationally renowned recording artist and producer Edward Theodore "Teddy" Riley will be the college's 2015 Spring Commencement Speaker.

The multi-platinum Grammy Award winning producer, singer, songwriter and musician will keynote GPTC's Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 30, 2015, 10 a.m., at the Georgia World Congress Center, Thomas Murphy Ballroom, Building B, 285 Andrew Young International Boulevard, NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. GPTC's Commencement is open to the public.

Hits such as "My Prerogative," "Just Got Paid," and "I Want Her" are just a few of the many songs that have been shaped by Teddy Riley. His client list includes artists such as Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Usher, Lady Gaga, Boyz II Men, Robin Thicke, and Snoop Dogg.

"We are very pleased Teddy Riley has graciously agreed to serve as our 2015 Commencement Keynote Speaker," said Georgia Piedmont Technical College President Dr. Jabari Simama. "With over 25 years' experience in the music industry, he will deliver an address that is sure to be both anecdotal and inspirational for our graduates, as well as their families and friends."
