Over the past 26 years, Super Saturday Night has been held in a variety of venues. This year, the A.R. "Gus" Barksdale Boys & Girls Club "Super Saturday Night" returns to Conyers, featuring an evening filled with international ambiance. The annual gala will take place August 15, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Acuity Brands in Conyers. Cuisine, wines, music and entertainment will have a ‘round-the-world' flavor.

Acuity Brands' People Center will treat guests to an indoor-outdoor evening as lush lawns, a quiet lake, the music-filled patio and indoor dining provide evocative sites for food stations, wine bars and an extensive silent auction. Plan to enjoy a social evening with a delightful variety of options designed to stimulate thoughts of exotic places and cultures. By holding this annual event in Conyers and planning an evening filled with international ambiance, the club recognizes the growing number of international cultures in the community and in its membership.

John Howard, Pinnacle Advertising Specialties, and Al Moreno, SunTrust Bank, are event co-chairs and Mary Young of Talley, French & Kendall is chairing the auction.
Super Saturday Night raises funds to support the A.R. "Gus" Barksdale Boys & Girls Club programs and activities for disadvantaged boys and girls in Conyers and Rockdale County. Each year, more than 1,000 children and teens benefit from a safe and fun after-school environment.
