Conyers police are on the search for two suspects who robbed a Subway store on Sigman Road at gunpoint Friday night.

According to police reports, around 11:15 p.m., two black males armed with semi-automatic handguns walked into the recently built Subway store at 1379 Sigman Road.

The first suspect was described as about 6 feet to 6-feet 2 inches tall, about 15 to 20 years old, wearing a black bandana over his face with a hoodie, pants, shoes and gloves all in black. The second suspect was described as about 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, also about 15 to 20 years old, wearing a blue hoodie, grey shirt, dark blue jeans, black gloves, and white shoes with blue.

One suspect jumped over the counter and told an employee to open the safe.

An employee in the back of the store reportedly told officers “the suspect that jumped the counter advised, ‘You know what time it is.’ And then he pointed the handgun at her.”

The other suspect went around the counter. The employee at the counter said he could not open the safe but could open the register and did so, reportedly backing away from the cash register.

The two suspects took money from the cash register and the cash box and ran out the back door. According to video footage, the suspects were in the store for 29 seconds.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Conyers Police at 770-929-4201.
