Sims Elementary students recently collected 856 cans in a food drive for the Rockdale Emergency Relief food bank, the most of any elementary school in the county.
From Sept. 30 to Nov. 18, the students at Eastminster School collected change to benefit Georgia children who have became victims of the fall floods in metro Atlanta. On Dec. 14, four Eastminster School students accompanied Lower School Director Sue Troff to Heirway Christian Academy in Douglasville and presented gift cards and books in excess of $1,300.
