Ruby Pearl Crenshaw, of Conyers, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2011. We were blessed to have had her for 90 precious years. She was born on October 14, 1920, in Crisp County. She and her husband, Dewey Jackson "Jack" Crenshaw, lived there until moving to Conyers in 1955. As a homemaker with seven children, "Pearl the Squirrel" had many things she enjoyed. She loved flowers, working in the yard, cooking, dancing, counting cars from the swing, but most of all, spending time with her very large family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Jackson "Jack" Crenshaw, son-in-law, Charlie "Boon" Underwood, Jr. and grandson, Lee Crenshaw. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Underwood and Billy Martin, Deloris and Franklin Terry, Janet and James Gilreath, Edith and David Coursey, Cindy and Bill Fanning; sons, Buddy Crenshaw, and Harris and Cynthia Crenshaw, all of Conyers, Georgia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren, plus 2 more on the way. They are Greg, Lanell, Kisha, Jason, Baby McCravy, Charles Brannon, JW, Summer, and Kaitlyn; Gina, Brad, Jeremy, Ashley, Lyla, Branden, Jessica, Mason, and Baby Holtsinger; Tim, Kim, Chasity, Adam, and Kaden; Todd, Kim, and Emily; Missy, Tim, Caitlyn, and Austin; Shannon, Martin, Taylor, Tori, and Taryn; Heather and Barron; Joel; Richard, Jennifer, Dylan, Lexi Belle, and Elliott; Megan, Shayla, and Naria; Daniel and MeLeigha; Randall, Elizabeth, Justin, and Scotty; Brandy, Jason, and Jayden; Felicia, Michael, and DJ; Chris; Jessica; and Kalee. In addition to her family, a very special person and devoted friend, Martha Morgan, helped care for Pearl for many years.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel at 11:30 a.m. with Mike Thomas officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.  Scot Ward Funeral Services at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road, Conyers, 30012, 770-483-7216.
