Rockdale Tennis Center's 14-and-under boys' team brought home the first ever Junior ALTA City Championship to RTC on Nov. 12. The RTC boys defeated Legacy Park 29-20 to win the City Finals silver plate at DeKalb Tennis Center.

"The boys worked hard all season," Coach Randall Wilson said. "They deserved those plates to cap a fantastic season."

RTC closed out its fall season by finishing on top of a field of 24 tennis teams from across metro Atlanta. Youth Tournament of the Year

The Rockdale-Conyers Tennis Center was recognized at the Nov.15 Board of Commissioners work session for being named the USTA 2011 Youth Tournament of the Year. Out of 355 contenders, the ConyersTennis.com Junior Classic Championship (Level 4) Tournament held May 21 and 22, 2011 won this distinction.
