Rockdale County Public Schools is hiring 40 new substitute teachers to add to the existing substitute pool.

They will begin working after spring break, which is the first week in April.

Applications must be picked up from the Human Resources Department, 954 N. Main Street, Conyers, Georgia beginning March 7. Interested applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher and must supply a copy of their transcript showing the degree awarded or their teaching certificate when they return the application.  

Applicants are also asked to bring two forms of identification (ie: valid Georgia Drivers License, Social Security Card or Passport). All applicants must be fingerprinted; the cost is $45 in exact cash or money order.

All applicants must attend a mandatory substitute training on March 20 at Rockdale Career Academy.
