IN BRIEF: Rockdale Medical Center is looking at opening a second Georgia Primary and Urgent Care location in the first quarter of 2015 in south Rockdale at the corner of Ga. Highway 212 and Ga. Highway 20. The hours at the second location will help patients access medical care after work hours, according to a hospital spokesperson.

RMC is also expanding its internal medicine general practice in Social Circle. Dr. Anne Grant, who practices out of Covington, is currently at the Social Circle office on Wednesdays and will also be there on Tuesdays starting January 6. A nurse practioner will also be at the Social Circle office during the weekdays starting sometime in the first quarter of 2015.
