The Rockdale community is already brimming over with community pride; the fact that our Rockdale county High school with a 24-1 record is currently ranked number 1 in the state in the class AAAA division just adds icing to the cake.

The team under the direction of Coach Alvin Williams has shown a style of hustle and grit in achieving this ranking.

Their effort even warranted a recent story in Atlanta's AJC, which rarely covers anything in our community.

We salute the team, its coaches and the whole school for providing a gleam of shining light during these times.
