The University of Georgia Collegium Musicum and Conductor Dr. Mitos Andaya presented "An Afternoon of Musical Gems from the Renaissance and Baroque," featuring expressive works of Josquin Des Pres, Robert White, Henry Purcell and more on Sunday Nov.13 at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. Also featured was the exquisite and rarely heard "Litanies de la Vierge" (Litany to the Virgin) by Marc-Antoine Charpentier with violins and continuo.
