Mr. Ralph E. James, age 88 of Conyers, a retired pattern cutter with Pacific Overall Company, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011.  He is survived by his wife, Gladys James, Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe James, Conyers, Gene and Carol James, Heflin, AL, Tony and Jone James, Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Agnese James, Conyers; sister, Mable Puckett, Loganville; grandchildren, Libba James, Scott James, Ryan James, Keri Little; great-grandchildren, Davis Little, Peyton Little, Frankie James, Wilson James; friends and relatives.  Mr. James served in the United States Army 9th Infantry Division which was a spearhead for the Normandy Invasion during World War II. Mr. James was wounded and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  He is a member of the VFW.  Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Eastview Cemetery with Rev.
