A sudden rain and even a car engine going up in smoke couldn't stop the holiday spirits as the 2014 Hometown Holidays Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony took place Saturday, Dec. 6, in Olde Town Conyers and in the Rockdale Auditorium.
