Rockdale County Board of Elections reminded voters that they can cast their ballots early starting Monday if they can not make it to the polls on Nov. 5.
Poll hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Oct. 14 and going through Nov. 1. Early voting will be held at the Board of Elections office, located at 1400 Parker Road, Lobby C.
Both Rockdale County residents and City of Conyers residents can participate in early voting. The ballot includes the city's general election and the county's Board of Education ESPLOST special election.
Voters should make sure to bring ID. The six forms of acceptable photo ID include:
•Georgia driver's license, even if expired;
•Valid photo ID card issued by any State or U.S. government;
•Valid United States passport;
•Valid Government employee photo identification card;
•Valid United States military identification card with photo; or
•Valid tribal identification card with photo.
Voters are advised that Nov. 1 is the last day for early voting or to request a ballot by mail. If residents do not participate in early voting, they should plan to vote 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 at their assigned precinct.
