Our thoughts: Meet and Greet

The November 2012 election promises to be one of the most important of our lifetime, especially to our baby boomer readers.

That includes national, state and local elections. Next Tuesday the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Meet and Greet with local elected community leaders.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the corner market suite D-220.

This will be an informal meeting where you can talk to your local officials and share your ideas or concerns with them.

This event is free for chamber members and will only cost $10 for non-members of the chamber.

It's not too early to familiarize yourself with the elected officials of the city and county.

You also can talk to the leadership of the chamber and share the same ideas with them.
