IN BRIEF: Olde Town Conyers is standing in once again for the streets of New Orleans as "The Originals," the CW's 'Vampire Diaries' spinoff, is back in town shooting a funeral scene this week.

A casting call for the funeral scene went out requesting bohemian, artsy looking extras. Another casting call requested a "hot jogger" for another scene in "The Originals," which is shooting its second season.

In neighboring Newton County, "Vampire Diaries" recently filmed a car crash scene and other scenes in downtown Covington's Square.
