Q01862-Road-Race-Start

It might be too late to run in the annual Peachtree Road Race, but you’ve still got time to go and watch. I know what you’re thinking; why in the world would I want to go watch that? Because it’s awesome and almost mind-boggling to see that many people running through the streets of Atlanta without any zombies chasing them. At each of the mile marks (there are six) there’s a different reason for staking out a spot to watch and cheer. You can eat at one spot, cheer at another; you can see the runners sprinkled with “holy water” or watch while you shop at yet another spot. It’s hot outside, and you have to get up early, but even if you aren’t running, it’s still an Atlanta tradition you should experience in some way at least once in your life. And if not now, when?
