Miss Nina Kathryn (Katie) Stewart, age 87 of Conyers, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Dr. John Chesley Stewart and Bonnie Allen Stewart. Miss Stewart is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and J.W. Creasy, Conyers; sister-in-law, Dorothy Stewart, Conyers; many nephews and great-nephews. She attended Mercer University and graduated from the University of Georgia. She was retired from the Atlanta School System where she taught first grade. She was a member of Fellowship Christian Church in Snellville and former member of Capital View Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. David Beckner officiating; interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta.
