Bender. R2-D2. Hal. All the great robots have names, and now Rockdale Medical Center wants the public's help in finding a name for it's new da vinci surgical assistance robot.

The hospital will be holding an open house on April 13 from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. for the public to come and test drive the new machine.

The da vinci SI, which remotely mimics the movement of a doctor's hands except with tools and pinchers far smaller than human hands, assists surgeons with laparoscopic surgeries and allows quicker recovery time for patients.
