The Olde Town Summer Music Fest will kick-off this Friday night with the local classic rock band Deathrow Bodines.

On one Friday each month this summer until October, the public is invited to enjoy the free entertainment and dine at one of many restaurants that will be offering specials throughout the summer festival.

Other Friday night concerts will be held on June 16, July 20, August 18, September 14 and October 13.

“We encourage everyone to come and walk around Olde Town and enjoy the music and local dining,” Main Street Director Monica Coffin said. She also said last year’s musical events were a tremendous success and this year’s line-up is packed with local talent.

Deathrow Bodines, a classic 60’s and 70’s rock band, will play at 7 pm Friday on Commercial Street, which will be blocked from Center Street to Warehouse Street until the event ends at 11pm. The public is invited to bring chairs and blankets.
