More snow possible Monday

Rockdale residents could be hit with snow again Monday, just as the snow from Friday's storm is melting off.

The National Weather Service at Peachtree City issued a winter weather advisory at 4:43 p.m. today, to be in effect Monday from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m., that areas of light rain, snow and sleet are expected to move into northwest Georgia by tonight and change to snow.

"Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected along and south of Carrollton through Marietta and Cumming to Gainesville through midday Monday," read the advisory.

About 2 to 4 inches are expected north of the line from Buchanan to Canton to Cleveland.
