Born leader: Sarah Myers, a student at Eastminster School, attended the People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., from Sept. 7 - 9 to study leadership and explore some of the country's most prominent monuments and institutions. Myers was nominated based on scholastic merit and civic involvement and joined a select group of students and visited places such as Capitol Hill, the Gettysburg National Military Park and the International Spy Museum. Forum delegates also participated in small group discussions and exercises to experience how successful leaders develop strategies, make decisions, build consensus and foster change.
