Minor flooding forecast for Yellow River, but not projected to affect roads or houses

Minor flooding is projected for the Yellow River near Conyers, possibly affecting yards but not projected to affect roads or residences, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

About 5:45 a.m., the Yellow River near Lithonia was reported at 14 feet, while flood stage is at 13 feet. The previous crest was reported in February of this year at 13.6 feet.
