What better way to start the season than to kick it off supporting a great cause? The football players, coaches, and booster club of RCHS is hosting its first community event by rallying against Domestic Violence, On Saturday, August 23rd at the high school located at 1174 Bulldog Cir Ne, Conyers, GA 30012.

Meet the Bulldogs is a fun day full of games, face painting, food, and music, with dance performances from their very own Dazzling Divas dance team. This event is for the entire Rockdale community. The event will begin at noon and end with a big pep rally at 4 p.m. inside of Reid Stadium.

Come out and meet the 9th grade, jv, and varsity players. The football program is collecting items to donate to Project Renewal. Project Renewal is a Domestic Violence Intervention Program changing lives in Rockdale, Newton, and Walton Counties. This shelter thrives from support of the community, so please consider making a difference in someone's life by donating any of the following items:

Clothing for women or children
- Food items
- Baby Diapers
- Baby Wipes
- Toilet Paper
- Napkins
- Blankets
- Toiletry items
- Small clocks
- New Undergarments
- Socks
- Laundry Detergent
- Cleaning supplies

A free game ticket will be given for each item donated at this event.
