Man stabbed in Conyers

CONYERS - A Conyers man was stabbed in the left shoulder Friday night following an argument, according to a Conyers Police report.

Xavier West is the suspect in the case, according to the police report. West, also known as the street name "Lil' Monkey," and the 35-year-old were arguing about an unknown matter prior to West allegedly stabbing him.

The victim was taken to the Rockdale Medical Center to treat his injuries. He was then transported to Grady Memorial Hospital to further treat his wound.

The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Green Valley Drive.

Arrest warrants have been taking out for West. He's been a suspect in a battery case in 2013, a robbery case in 2012 and a felony possession marijuana case in 2000. He's also had some traffic violations.
