Letters to Santa... from Lorraine Elementary, Eastminster School
Santa

Letters from Lorraine Elementary and the Eastminster School:

Dear Santa,
Elfi is doing good.
Santa have you eaten reindeer food? I have.
St Nick, I want to thank you for all you have done!
How is Rudolph? How can you fit your big self down the chimney?
I wish I could see you in real life! Who is your best friend?
Love,
Blakely

Dear Blakely,
I am glad to hear that Elfi is doing well. I hope he hasn’t caused too much mischief. Rudolph is doing great and ready to go if I need him. Next year maybe you can come to the parade to see me. I would like that. My best friend is easy; it is Mrs. Claus.
Love,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Thank you for delivering our toys and keeping track of all the elves and feeding the reindeer. My dad is a very hard worker and can you get a present for my dad? Also, my mom because she makes food for us? If you do that I would be very thankful. I am real excited for Christmas! I hope you don’t get sick on Christmas. You are very, very, jolly and magical. How many elves are there? What are their names?
Love,
Margaret

Dear Margaret
It is always a pleasure to bring toys because it makes so many children like you happy. That is so sweet of you to think of your mom and dad like that. Why don’t you draw each of them a very special picture for me and put it under the tree. You can say it is from both you and me so they will know how we both care for them and how much we appreciate what they do.
Love,
Santa

--------------------------------

Dear Santa,
Santa, I just really want to thank you for the gifts. What food do you feed the reindeer? Santa, do you ever sleep? Santa I love you very much. Santa you are so funny, jolly, happy, and plump.
Love,
Justin Byrd

Dear Justin,
You are very welcome and so polite. During the year the reindeer eat corn, oats, hay and meadow grass. Sometimes I give them a carrot or an apple as a treat. I don’t get much sleep during the Christmas season but I make up for it in the spring. Mrs. Claus is patient and lets me sleep late when I have worked late.
Love,
Santa

--------------------------------

Dear Santa,
Does my elf Kelly make mischief at the North Pole like she does at my house?
Love,
Mia Smith

Dear Mia,
Kelly has been known to try to get into mischief back at the North Pole but the head elves don’t put up with too much of that especially when there is work to do. I sure hope Kelly didn’t cause to much of a problem.
Love,
Santa

------------------------------

Dear Santa,
How do your rain deer fly? I think your reindeer fly by micg poudr (magic powder).
Love,
Kaylee Kimsey

Dear Kaylee,
Many years ago some of the elves and I discovered some magic corn. When we fed it to the reindeer, they began to jump very, very high. The more we fed them, we discovered, the higher and higher they could fly. Santa only feeds the magic corn to them on Christmas Eve so I can deliver the presents all over the world. I hope that answers what you ask.
Love,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Do you always wear red and white close (clothes)? I think you do.
Your friend,
Molly Moulton

Dear Molly,
Mrs. Claus made Santa’s first suit and chose red because it was so bright and cheerful. It also made me stand out from other grownups and children could see me better. Ever since then I have worn a red suit. Sometimes you might see me without my red coat on for photos or if I am inside where it is warm.
Love,
Santa
