Mr. Leon Norton, age 90 of Conyers, died Monday, April 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Norton. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Nancy Norton, N. Augusta, SC, Toney and Lynda Norton, Conyers; grandchildren, Melanie Cochran, N. Augusta, SC, Jeff Norton, Atlanta, Simon Norton, Conyers; great-grandchildren, Colby and Katelyn Cochran, N. Augusta, SC; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Norton was a member of First Baptist Church of Conyers. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired salesman with Lou Sobh Automotive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. Jeff Meyers officiating; interment will follow at Hill Haven Memorial Gardens, Monroe.
