Laverne Blake-McGovern, Age 90, of Conyers formerly of Lithonia, died Saturday, April 23, 2011.  She is survived by sons, D.C. Blake, Conyers, Charley & Olean Blake, Conyers; daughter, Betty Blake Andrews, Ohio; brother, Clemie Lee Smith, Loganville; grandchildren, Angela Blake Qualls, Roger Blake, Charley Blake, Jr., Shannon Blake; 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  This wonderful, loving, kind mother, grandmother, aunt and friend will be missed and never forgotten.  Mrs. McGovern was retired from Mead Paper Company after 30 years of service.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
