The Rockdale County varsity football team dropped its first game of the season Friday night on the road at Langston Hughes, falling 34-0 in non-region action.
Rockdale fell behind 6-0 at the half, but allowed the Panthers 28 unanswered points in the second half.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 3-1 on the season after picking up victories over Salem, Drew and Heritage in the first three weeks of action.
Hughes improves to 3-1 on the year.
The Bulldogs were looking for their first 4-0 start since 1987. Rockdale returns to action next week at Morrow.
