Rockdale County, Southern Staffing and Commissioner Oz Nesbitt are hosting a “Ready to Work Talent Search” job fair Tuesday, Sept. 2, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the lower level of the Conyers-Rockdale Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, 864 Green Street.

The job fair will feature clerical, data entry, receptionist, dispatcher and other office-type management positions from Rockdale County Fire and Rescue and Southern Staffing temp agency.

“We're encouraging our local residents to come out full force,” said Nesbitt at Tuesday’s board of commissioners meeting. “Make certain you have the resume ready and in tip top shape. We encourage folks to dress for success.”

The event is part of a series of job related events hosted by Nesbitt.

The Atlanta Regional Workforce Board's Mobile Career Lab also will come to the library next Wednesday as part of its twice-a-month visits to help job seekers brush up on their applications.

The next Mobile Career Lab will be at the library from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sept. 10 and 17, Oct. 18 and 22, Nov. 5 and 19 and Dec. 10
