This Thanksgiving I am grateful for the people I have met this year and in previous years. They have been there for me through the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Mrs. Lauren Lewin: I will never be able to say thank you enough for all of the times that you have supported me. You have been an awesome cheerleader and supporter for everyone at the Rockdale Magnet School. You never fail to lend an ear and to give excellent advice whether the problem deals with stress management or college applications. I am very fortunate to go to a school that has you as their counselor.

Mr. John Hendrix: I am very thankful that I had you as my research teacher this year. Thank you for never giving up on my research project even as it fell apart. Even though this year's road to finishing my project was very rocky, you never stopped believing that I would eventually be able to collect some data! Lastly, thank you for putting up with my crazy research class!I don't know you managed to do that, but I am glad you did!

Joshua Baker: To this day, I am grateful that we were in the same group for ExploraVision in ninth grade. While we may not have won the competition, we did become friends! Thank you for being supportive and being there for me through the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY. I know that you will be an excellent engineer one day and I wish you nothing but the best!

Ben Smart: I am grateful for all of your advice for my application to the summer institute. You have been a great friend in the short time that I have gotten to know you.I will always appreciate the support that you have given me. I know you will be very successful at the University of South Carolina and in their Navy ROTC programz You are going to do great things for this country in the Navy and I wish you the very best! I have no doubt that you will be the best pilot!
