Though it wasn't an inter-county match, Friday's soccer contest pitting Eastside vs. Heritage was still a geographical rivalry.
The score, however, didn't show that way when it was all said and done.
The Heritage girls' team defeated hosts Eastside 7-0 in a one-sided affair.
The Patriots put up five goals in the first half, including three by senior Arrielle Gunderson. The Florida signee also had two assists.
"I had no idea it would be this sort of margin," Heritage coach Chad Suddeth said. "It helped that we scored early. That kind of gave us a spark and it snowballed from there."
