Melissa Roster of Conyers and Thomas Glenn Hayes of Oxford announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Anna Roster and the late James William roster of Conyers. Native of Atlanta, the bride-elect has resided in Conyers most of her life. A graduate of DeKalb College, she obtained her Optician Degree and has been employed with Lenscrafters as a licensed optician for 23 year. She has a 13-year-old daughter Olivia who attends Peachtree Academy and is an honor student active in drama and volleyball.

The future groom, a native of Oxford, is the son of the late Thomas E. and Robbie L. Hayes, both of Oxford, He is a graduate of Newton County High School and the owner of Hayes Furniture Company and Hayes Farm, LLC. He is an active member of the community, raises cattle and hay, serves on the board of the Farm Service Agency in Madison and on the board of the Piedmont Cattleman's Association.

The couple will marry June 23 at Burnt Pine Plantation, Newborn, and will reside at Hayes Farm, Oxford.
